• What is your photography style?

  My style is photojournalistic — I believe in capturing moments as they naturally unfold, with minimum interference. I focus on authentic emotions, real expressions, and candid moments rather than overly posed or staged shots. The result is imagery that feels genuine and timeless.

• How do you back up your images?

  Your images are important to me and I take backup seriously. All photos are backed up to multiple locations immediately after each session, including cloud storage and a local drive. I retain copies of your images for a period after delivery so you have time to download and save them on your end.

• What equipment do you use?

  I shoot with Nikon camera bodies and a selection of high-quality lenses suited for each type of session — from wide-angle for capturing full scenes to fast primes for intimate portraits in low light. All equipment is professionally maintained and I carry backup gear to every shoot.

• Who owns the digital files after the session?

  You receive full personal use rights to all delivered images. You are free to print, share, and use them for personal purposes. I retain copyright as the photographer, which means I may use images for portfolio and marketing purposes. If you have specific privacy concerns, let me know and we can discuss.

• Do you offer print services?

  Yes! I offer professional print services through a trusted lab, including standard prints, canvas, and albums. High-quality prints are a great way to display your favourite memories. Ask me about print options when booking or after you receive your digital gallery.

• Where will I find my photos after the session?

  After editing is complete, you will receive a link to a private online gallery where you can view, download, and share your images. Delivery times vary by session type — portrait and couples sessions are typically delivered within 1–2 weeks; weddings within 6–8 weeks.

• How do I book a session?

  The easiest way is to fill out the contact form below or send me an email at hello@loiphotos.com. I'll get back to you within 1–2 business days to discuss your vision, availability, and next steps. A deposit is required to hold your date.

• Are you insured as a business?

  Yes. I carry professional liability (errors & omissions) insurance as well as general liability coverage. If your venue requires proof of insurance, I am happy to provide a certificate of insurance upon request.

• Are you a licensed business?

  Yes. Loi Photos is a registered business operating in Saskatchewan. All bookings include a formal client contract to protect both parties and clearly outline deliverables, timelines, and terms.
